In Japan, swallows have long been associated with the arrival of spring and are often seen as symbols of good fortune and prosperity. They also appear frequently in traditional Japanese art, including ukiyo-e, which makes the motif a natural fit for this design.

The swallow is expressed through delicate embroidery and retro-inspired colors, while both back pockets are decorated with embroidered cherry blossoms and other details.
